We love our donkeys. They're family.
CRATES Colorado is less than a year old, based in beautiful Bailey, Colorado — and growing fast. What started with a love of these animals has turned into guided hikes, race coaching, and race directing across the state, with more on the way.
What CRATES stands for
Coaching, Races, Adventures, Timing, Events & Services
Right now, our biggest focus is guided donkey hikes — but that's just the “A.” We also offer experienced burro-race coaching and race director / race creation services, with three races currently under our belt and we'd love to add more to our portfolio. Race timing is coming soon, and if you've got a request that doesn't fit neatly into a category — a birthday party, a photo shoot, a meet-and-greet — we want to hear about it.
What people don't always realize is how much goes into the process of training these magical creatures, for both the hikes and the races. Every donkey on our team is trained, cared for, and treated like a member of the family — because they are.
